Thank you for joining me on this journey of self-exploration! Congratulations on taking the steps to self-empowerment and stepping up to justice.

Mending the Broken is based on the sexual abuse trauma that I went through as a child from the earliest age I can remember of 5 until I was 11. After years of struggling with questions, fear, anxiety, depression, guilt, anger and so many other negative feelings, I spoke up against my perpetrators. After I found the courage to speak up, 30 other children found freedom from abuse by speaking up against my main perpetrator as well. So, my goal for you is to know that you have the courage inside to stand up for yourself if you are being harassed, bullied, abused, or hurt in anyway. You are empowered to stand up for justice and find your happiness.

I have been teaching empowerment for over 5 years through the social work field. Although, from the time I can remember as a child, I was teaching love and compassion for oneself to others. Along with being sexually abused, my babysitter (who watched me from the time I was 7 months old until I was 11) was domestically and emotionally abused by her husband. I used to write her poems and cover her up with her favorite purple blanket.

Mending the Broken will give you the knowledge and power that you can make a stand for yourself and others. I have done it personally and I have helped so many others face their biggest fear of breaking the chains that their abusers have put around them. When you finish reading this, you will be equipped with some ideas and excited to stand up for yourself.
